Lots of Kids
Posted in Little Historians and tagged with Children, Church on August 21, 2006Yesterday was promotion Sunday at church and was also the first night of AWANA for the school year. It was quite crazy! We had 20 kids in Sunday School, with 4 who often attend not there. That many 5-year-olds in a room is kinda crazy, but I think I’ll enjoy the new class, especially when they start to understand the routine.
We had 15 girls in our AWANA group, with 3 missing. It’s a different make up than last year, but I truly love the girls that age. I have a couple in my small group that are quite giggly, but that just reminds me of when I was that age…
Anyway, I’m excited to get the opportunity to speak truth to these kids!
