Yesterday was promotion Sunday at church and was also the first night of AWANA for the school year. It was quite crazy! We had 20 kids in Sunday School, with 4 who often attend not there. That many 5-year-olds in a room is kinda crazy, but I think I’ll enjoy the new class, especially when they start to understand the routine.

We had 15 girls in our AWANA group, with 3 missing. It’s a different make up than last year, but I truly love the girls that age. I have a couple in my small group that are quite giggly, but that just reminds me of when I was that age…

Anyway, I’m excited to get the opportunity to speak truth to these kids!
