Crunch Time
Posted in Academic Pursuits and tagged with School on October 24, 2007Right now it’s crunch time, and I’m not just talking about the falling leaves. I love school; I’ve done it (almost) all my life. Every semester, there comes a time when the papers are due, the reading assignments are becoming more tedious, and tests pop up at every inconvenient moment. In the fall, this happens from mid-October until mid-December, conveniently ending in time for my birthday most years. In the spring (at least at Southeastern) the crunch time is from mid-March to late May.
I’m a pretty good student and do well when I plan out my research, reading, and paper-writing over the semester rather than cramming it in when it’s due. That said, I still manage to push it off, allowing for enjoyable activities like brownie baking and late-night movie watching to take priority. Occasionally, even blogging has taken a front seat to such things as Calvin’s view of infant baptism and the application of the sixth commandment to the modern Christian.
By now you have probably figured out that I have more important things to do than sit here with my fingers traveling across the keyboard. Close laptop, open book.
