I’m embarrassed to admit this, but recently I’ve been enjoying a little bit of reality television. I know, it only requires a low level of brain use while being entertained, but that’s exactly what I need sometimes. At least I read classic books, right?
Last week when I was watching Kid Nation, I remembered a thought that I had as a kid. I used to think that the things that would occur on our middle school bus were noteworthy, even television worthy. I thought it would be cool to make a daily show about the things that happened on the bus.
I now realize that my life is not exciting enough to make for good television, but what I had been imagining in my head was a reality show, before reality television became popular and certainly before I knew about it.
Did you have any crazy ideas as a kid that weren’t so crazy after all?

Thanks for stopping by my blog and suggesting a recipe! I’ll have to give that a try – if I had all the ingredients I’d make it for dinner tonight.
Ronnica,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts about having a December birthday! We definitely want to create special celebrations for our son.
My guilty pleasure is Reality TV, too! Right now it is Dancing with the Starts….next is American Idol. I cannot stand to watch shows like The Bachelor, however, because those women annoy me.
