Wonderful Wedding

I just got back from a wedding of a good friend. I think it was the most comfortable I’ve ever been at a wedding. It can sometimes be awkward as a single girl without a date, but that wasn’t a big deal this time around. Don’t worry, I didn’t catch the bouquet either!

The wedding was at our church, so I knew the setup and a lot of the people in attendance. They had both the wedding and the reception in the same room, by having us leave after the cerimony to get out food and sit down at the tables around the room. The food was good, the colors were beautiful (a pretty shade of purple), and everything was the perfect balance of elegance and joy.

As soon as I got home I changed from wedding attire into home clothes: sweats and an Oklahoma t-shirt. It’ll be a football and homework kind of day. Go Sooners!
