Ronnica -- THANKS so much for stopping by my blog. I LUV commentors -- you made day. °Ü°

AND -- you challenged me...

If you are married, do you know someone who is single in your church? Invite them to dinner, write them a note, or do something else nice. It can be hard, especially in churches as they are so family-oriented. Include them in regular activities, and adopt them as a part of your family for church functions.

We are new to our church -- we changed churches to be closer to home... one thing we are doing is trying to get to know people by inviting them into our home. Hmmm... I wonder if there are any single people, we can single out. Hmmm... Got me thinking, ya did!

I think your blog is very readable b.t.w. ;D

I really enjoyed this post. Thank you,for having such a godly attitude in serving families and the children of our church. It's encouraging that you are using your singleness to honor God and help others. I'm glad too that you mentioned to the married folk to also be mindful of single friends and to include them more. I needed to be reminded of that...

Enjoy your single life. I did not get marrie till I was 37 and had my baby the following year. While I was single, I travelled, lived where I wanted, went from job to job, quit when I wanted to, I had such freedom and I enjoyed it to the fullest. Now, I'm married and enjoying every bit of it as well.
And thanks for the reminder about inviting single friends.
