Hiring Text Correctors
Posted in The Life of the Historian on December 11, 2007I read on another blog that there is a company who actually sells mix-matched socks in groups of 3 socks (not pairs). So maybe it is a fashion statement after all!
The other day I got a spam message offering me a job “correcting,” (but not translating) text. The email was in such broken English, I couldn’t figure out what the fake “job” supposedly consisted of. So maybe it was legit after all; they certainly needed a text “corrector!”
Four more days until my birthday! If you have any fun suggestions on how to celebrate the big 2-5 in bloggy world, let me know.

I suggest that you buy everything in quarters. And wear a shirt with the number 5 in a square.

@K-Lai
When I first read your comment in email, I didn’t know what you were talking about. When I went back to see what I wrote, I still couldn’t figure out thet “number 5 in a square” thing. As I was making puppy chow 2 hours later, I figured it out. Five squared. Got it.
However, I don’t think that would be appropriate for a wedding (which I’m going to on my birthday). And I hope not to pay for anything, either. =)
