I actually read the Hiding Place in 2007 and loved it. I think my favorite book was probably The Kite Runner.

Hmmm…it’s a toss up between Dickens’ David Copperfield (all 800+ pages!) and Bronte’s Jane Eyre. Been into the classics myself lately and will have to take you up on your suggestions as soon as I finish the few unread ones on my shelf. Thanks for thinking of your readers :)

Last year I read Dying to Decorate by Cyndy Salzman, and I loved it! It has recipes, humor, and a good mystery. I recommend it!

Oh man, too many books to choose from! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the entire Phillipa Gregory series of the Henry VIII’s queens/mistresses books, specifically The Other Boleyn Girl. Pillars of the Earth was great too!

Should I be embarrassed that my favorite book from 2007 was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows? Ok, I’m not embarrassed…those books have made many kids get excited about reading. Anyway, I’m in! I’d love to read these books!!

I didn’t have a chance to read a lot of books in 2007, however I did get through A Thousand Splendid Suns and found it wonderful. I’m looking forward to reading the Kiterunner next.

it really hit home with me. my friend lost her husband last year, and this book was about a women who lost her husband and how she got through it.

By Faith Alone, it’s a book by a man (sorry can’t remember the author) who traced his family tree all the way back to England during the Reformation. His ancestors were Puritans’s and he has ancestors that were hanged as witches in Salem!!! Awesome read and makes you think about the Faith of the people who came before us.

Out of the new books I read, Skin by Ted Dekker was probably my favorite. And by favorite I also mean it was the only new book I read last year. Wow, that’s kinda scary.
