Another Book Closed
Posted in Once I Was a Kansas Girl on May 21, 2008This morning I woke up bright and early at 5:59. One minute before my alarm went off. I love doing that and thanked the Lord for having that happen on the day when I needed to be up and at ‘em fully bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. Who cares that I just had a dream about finding articles in the paper about my dad being up for a middle school tennis coach position and a kid at church getting an award for being a genius (my dad has very limited tennis experience and that kid is of average intelligence).
After getting ready for the day, I took my Baptist history exam which was my last final. It wasn’t too bad, and I feel pretty confident I made the grade I needed in order to get an A in the class. More importantly, it just feels good to be done!
Yesterday turned out to be quite the packing day. My room is mostly ready. The next step is to focus on the kitchen which will also need a lot of work. Part of the problem is that it’s hard to figure out what is whose and I’m getting excited to move and know I have an exhausting-but-worth-it weekend ahead of me.
Sorry I’m so boring. What else is there to write about?

Wow! I know you’ve been talking about the end of the year being close but I guess I just didn’t realize it was “the last final” close!
Congrats!
So what’s next? Summer plans?

I forgot that it is “moving weekend” for you! Wish we were closer so we could help you tote boxes! Go carefully and have fun setting up your new household!
