Chinese Delivered
Posted in Once I Was a Kansas Girl on May 28, 2008I love that I live in a city. It’s not a large city as cities go, but it’s still very much a city. Last night we were going through the welcome packet that came with the apartment, and there were delivery/takeout menus from a ton of fun restaurants in the immediate area. We can order Chinese delivered! You always see that in the movies, but I’ve never lived in a place where that is available. I’ve also heard of a Thai place nearby that delivers. I’ve never had Thai, but it’s something I want to try out.
The apartment is starting to come together, and I love it. My alarm clock is on the very far side of the room as my bed, so when I look up to check the time, it looks so small. The real downside (aside from the smell, which we can now add mildew because of the leaky sink to the smoke) is the smallish kitchen. It feels bigger than our last kitchen because it is wider, but it has significantly less cabinet and counter top space. I’m just glad that there is only two of us living there so we can each still have enough space for our pantry items.
I’m sorry if I’m boring you all with apartment talk. Soon enough I’ll be settled and I can move on to more important things!

Are you joking? You’ve never lived somewhere they deliver Chinese? I thought everywhere had Chinese. I’m so glad you finally moved for that one reason in particular.

I have Chinese food delivered all the time….my Dad works near an awesome Chinese restaurant so he’s our delivery man.

We can have Chinese delivered here too! It’s much pricier than Chinese in Wake Forest, but it’s totally worth it. :)
