Sounds like you had some very efficient and good-hearted helpers ... that makes ALL the difference. <br/><br/>Changing the filter should help immensely. If it continues to be awful though, I would bring it up with the landlord to see about replacing the carpeting and padding. Once smoke gets into the padding, you're stuck with it. <br/><br/>Happy settling in! I am so glad the move went well. Changing the filter should help immensely. If it continues to be awful though, I would bring it up with the landlord to see about replacing the carpeting and padding. Once smoke gets into the padding, you’re stuck with it.
