And let summer reign again! I am officially done with my summer class. I finished my last paper as quickly as my fingers could type, stuck it in the mail, and now I’m done. Yes, the paper was due Friday, but I wanted summer again.
My regular semester starts one week from tomorrow. That means that I have 8 days of summer.
Long live the flip flop!
(Oh, and I’m glad I’m not the only Croc-hater. They’re even known to be a safety risk around escalators.)
Enjoy your 8 days of summer!
Enjoy your break! And I agree…LONG LIVE FLIP FLOPS! My faves come from L.L. Bean and they’re on sale now. You should check them out. :-)

I’m a flip flop addict and a CROC HATER! We need a “croc hater” button for our blogs!!! LOL! Enjoy your time off!
I don’t care for crocks either! I’m right there with ya! =)
Flip flops are WAY to CUTE!!!!
Congrats on getting the paper in!!! Enjoy your 8 days of summer!!!!! =)
Okay – as the mother of a 16 yr old, I DESPISE the flip-flop. I would rather see Crocs on any of these kids than flip-flops.
They’re ok for the pool or beach, but as attire? ack!
I hate Crocs! They are ugly and I don’t find them comfortable at all! I am however a flip flop queen! It’s warm down here in the sunny south for 8 months though and I even wear flip flops in the winter at times! They rule!
I do hope you enjoy this last bit of summer! And don’t cry about being single! Smile because you can still do whatever you want!!! hehe! (I didn’t marry until I was 37! so there is always hope) You just need to be content where you are. Doesn’t mean you aren’t lonely at times! Especially when I felt like God wanted me to move all the way to SC with my family in IN and I didn’t know a soul down here! I was lonely the first few months for sure!! Always follow God though! In my loneliness is when I met my husband! :D
Hi, I’m Audrey. I’m finally getting a chance to read all of the blogs from the bloggy carnival and loving what I’m finding.
I too am a croc hater but love my flip flops.
My most recent pair came from K-Mart, only $5 and I love them!!
I love my Croc flip flops comfort wise (my feet are terribly picky) but I’m not surprised about the escalator thing – I trip over my sandals all the time just walking… I wouldn’t let my kids wear them until they were older, that’s for sure.
Big thumbs up to your post title!!!
I can’t stand crocs either :)
Yea! Congratulations on being done with summer classes! Enjoy the week+ off…
For what it’s worth, the orthopaedic surgeon that examined our kiddo’s heel cords last year cautioned us quite strongly against Crocs. He said they are bad for the feet in terms of walking properly, and told us outright we shouldn’t get them for the kiddo but that also he wouldn’t recommend them for us either.
Seriously, when he was done with his rant-tastic tirade, I swore I’d never get a pair of Crocs for anyone in my household.
Besides, I’m a Birkenstocks kinda gal in the summer, myself! :)
Cheers!
Hooray for flip flops and summer! I own lots and lots of pairs (never enough). Boy, 8 days of summer isn’t quite enough. What are you going to do to enjoy yourself?
Wow…8 whole days!!
And crocs? Can’t stand them. They are like the most ugly shoe out there. And have you seen the new “high-heel” crocs and croc wedges? Even worse!
