Posted in Once I Was a Kansas Girl and tagged with Blogness, Me on October 2, 2008Okay, so I had a lame-o post scheduled for today, but then I got an email from Heather, one of the SITSta mamas. And what did she have to say? Today’s my lucky day! I’m the SITS featured blog!
So if you’re here for SITS, feel free to peek in my medicine cabinets and go through all my drawers. I won’t mind. You’ll notice on the left that I have a little blurb about me, and below that is a list of some of my favorite posts.
And since you’re here, I should tell you that I’m giving away a book, Dream in Color, about the first pair of sisters in Congress. Seems relevant since tonight the first woman Republican VP candidate will be debating Joe Biden.
Oh, and don’t worry, I rescheduled the lame-o post for Monday. You won’t be missing a thing!
Update: Oh my, I’m loving this! I just had to say this here, because I share it with a non-blogger they won’t get it. It’s noon, and I’ve only made my way to respond to comments left before 8 AM! Keep them coming, I promise I’ll be stopping by soon! Thanks to everyone!

over from SITS… had a good laugh about boiled peanuts here… I never heard of them until 4 days ago when I find a bag of them in my fridge (a gift from a friend of Hubby’s) – I tried to throw it away… can’t imagine what it might taste like… not even I am THAT curious! Thanks for the little taste of Kansas… lived in Wichita once upon a time (yikes, my Kansas baby is 11 now!).
