What Your Toilet Choice Says about You

This post is entirely tongue in cheek. I’m just trying to come up with what your stall choice could possibly say about you. Truly, I don’t think it CAN say much about you, other than, you know, which toilet stall you choose.

The results of the “Which Toilet Would You Choose?” survey were enlightening. This is what your stall choice says about you:

If you chose stall A, then you could be clumsy and/or lazy. You go for convenience above other things. You may also harbor some fear of being stuck in the bathroom stall.

If you chose stall B, you are probably lazy too, but you also want others to think that you’re considerate.

If you chose stall C, you probably have been to a SAT or test prep seminar. You were coached to choose “C” if you didn’t know the answer back then, and now you pick the middle when given a variety of answers just so you don’t have to think about which to choose.

If you chose stall D, then you are rare indeed. You probably are scared of what others will think of you if they see you walk to the end of the toilets and have to backtrack as the last toilet is not up to your standards.

If you chose stall E, then you are concerned about your personal safety. Being in the corner also provides you with the anonymity you crave.

Thanks for playing along! I remember hearing once that people tend to choose the middle stall, but this very unscientific survey found the opposite. Stalls C and D were the least likely to be chosen.

  1. Great post! I think I'm a Stall E kinda gal. Perhaps. Or maybe. Well, on second thought, I just don't know. Don't forget: Today's the Silly Sunday Sweepstakes over at my place today. Please come by & Share the Caption Love!

  2. How funny!! I am just laughing over and over… every time I look at that picture!! Trying to decide what stall I would choose and the thought of seeing you taking that picture!
You do have quite the imagination!!! I would have never thought of using a picture of a bathroom as a post subject! Quite clever!
I don’t know for sure… but I think I would have chosen B. I have respect for the handicap – since I was raised around it- and yet I am quite claustrophobic… so would want to be close to the door for fear that a mob of small blattered woman rush in and block my escape route!

  3. Hehe. This made me laugh. I go to whichever stall my 4 y/o chooses…if she’s not with me, then I usually go for the second to last one. D?

  4. The survey needed to take into account how many babies you have given birth to and age. This is a serious factor in which stall you use. :)

  5. I’m with some of the other commenters. With two three-year-olds, I never get a toilet stall choice anymore, just a final nay vote if they choose a stall that’s too disgusting or has the toilet backed up. Sometimes when I’m out by myself, I hardly know what to do in the bathroom without two kids to herd along with me :)

  6. Now I am totally not lazy…I just like having some room to move around when Emma is with me. Literally, there are times when one of us will have to stand on top of the toilet so that we can close the stall door!

  7. LOL! That was funny (and yup – I read the correct post first ;) )

…my stall-choosing technique is: always take the first one when walking into the bathroom because I read somewhere that very few people do – therefore, it’s the cleanest. However, you threw a monkey wrench in when stall A was the handicap stall – cuz I try to not take that one. heh

    Thanks for the laugh :)

  8. That’s me. I crave anonymity, unless there’s pee on the seat in which case all bets are off. lol. Interesting survey for sure.

  9. Chose A if my granddaughter was with me. Not clumsy or lazy.
E if I were alone. I do like my privacy for sure.
Always, Always flush with my foot. I saw someone posted about that in their answer to the original post.
I also always hold my granddaughters hands while she pees so she does not touch the dirty toilet seat. Never know what is lurking there.

  10. This is funny! I am an E stall, not so much about “physical” safety, but you know, bathroom time is, well, private! I don’t want too many people walking by . . .hehe

  11. I once heard that most people go with the first stall so it’s the dirtiest. I guess it’s like any survey or poll…subject to the participants.

And I just saw that Gramma said she flushes with her foot. Me, too…always!

  12. My choice would have been A or B, not because I was too lazy to walk any farther, but because from the looks of the picture, they are the best lit, and I don’t like dark bathroom stalls.
