Okay, so Carrie had this up on her blog and I had to do it. Without further ado, here are my favorite books from A to Z:

F – Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
G – Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
H – (The) House of Mirth by Edith Wharton
I – Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands by Paul Tripp
J – (Tom) Jones by Henry Fielding (Hey, if people can be alphabetized by their last names, then names in titles can be, too)
K – Kiterunner by Khaled Hosseini
L – Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
M – (The) Man Who Was Thursday by G. K. Chesterton
N – Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell
O – Oliver Twist by Jane Austen
P – Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Q
R – Red by Ted Dekker (and the other 2 Circle trilogy books)
S – Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

U – Uncle Tom’s Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe
V – (The) Visitation by Frank Peretti
W – War of Words by Paul Tripp
X
Y – (The) Year of Living Biblically by A. J. Jacobs (okay, I cheated on this one, Carrie, but it’s a pretty good book)
Z
Okay, so I couldn’t come up with anything on Q, X, or Z. Are their books for those letters that I’m missing?

I’m thankful to have shelves full of books, and access to many more through the library. I’m thankful the opportunity love and learn from these books!
Oooh! The Discipline of Grace by Bridges. Excellent book. It’s been awhile since I’ve read anything by him but his books were very impacting (to me) several years ago.
Fun!
p.s. Yeah, and if you come up with a “Z” let me know. ;)
This is awesome! I might try it but it would prove how book poor I am.
