It’s Only Taken 21 Years

Yes, this is my second post today. I just had to share this with you.

I just left my last class of my entire schooling career. After 21 1/2 years of being a student, I no longer have to go to class. I almost got teary eyed when I was leaving town, but then I didn’t.

The 2 papers, 3 Sunday school lessons, 2 finals, and 1 presentation left keep me in check.

Regardless, attending class has always been my least favorite school activity, at least since I started college. And now it’s done.

You know the expression, “When hell freezes over?” Today seemed kinda like that. I don’t really use that expression (since I don’t think hell is a joking matter), but it is ironic that this is the scene that greeted me as I headed out to my car to go to class:

It snowed the entire time I was driving to class. This is the second time it’s snowed this week, though only the first time it’s stuck to anything at all. That just doesn’t happen in North Carolina, especially not in November!

But hey, today’s not just an ordinary day, is it?

Too funny! Congrats on this HUGE milestone. Of course, if you’re anything like me, I was ready to start taking classes (just for fun, of course) about a month after I finished my graduate degree!

OH wow. What a HUGE milestone for you to reach and I’m sure it DID cause you to become teary eyed. New seasons in life have the ability to do that.

Well, CONGRATULATIONS on having a new and fresh opportunity to explore what God has for you!
