Wanna Write a Paper for Me?
Posted in Once I Was a Kansas Girl and tagged with School, Sick, Work on November 6, 2008Here I sit at home. Yesterday I started getting sick with a runny nose and runny, well, let’s just say that I was runny on both ends (sorry, TMI I know). I really don’t think they’re related (the second symptom has since gone away). After sleeping 9 1/2 hours, I’m feeling a little better, but I skipped class (since I slept right through it) and won’t be going in to work. I’ll be spending the day working from home.
I was to go to the dentist to get some cavities taken care of, but I figured that wouldn’t be a good idea since I wouldn’t be able to breathe out of my nose. When I called they were pretty adamant that I not come in, even though it wasn’t 24-hour notice. I imagine they don’t want to get sick!
You know what’s funny about this? I have a 5-page paper due Friday. I didn’t start it until AFTER I got sick. There’s a reason why I don’t wait until the last minute to write papers. Procrastination didn’t work for me in college, and it doesn’t work for me now.

I’m thankful to have a flexible job that allows me to take off when I need and work from home as needed, too.

I hope you are feeling better today. No, you don’t want me to write that paper for you! I think you are trying to pass, right?
As for the dream, we ARE related Sis! But I know what you mean about dreams… I have dreampt that something happened and I thought (DREAMING) “I have got to blog about this”. Imagine waking and realizing my blog fodder wasn’t real LOL!

Sorry. Can’t write that paper for ya. I’ve got other things of my own that I’ve been procrastinating on. ;)
Hope you feel better quickly.

Yeah, I don’t think you’d want me writing the paper either. Hope you are feeling better even now!

I like TMI posts just as much as I like random posts. They let me know how human a person is. Anyway, I hope you feel better. And I think the illness is a blessing in disguise…now you have time to write more of your paper!

Oh honey, I hope you feel better… hopefully that paper will just start itself and flow (no pun intended) from there….

Oh, I’ll write it for you…later…

I hope you feel better. It’s no fun to feel sick.
As for your paper…I’d have to agree with others here. It’s been so long since I’ve written a paper that I’d be scared if anyone asked me to write on for real. You’ll get it done. I have no doubt.

I hope you’re feeling better! I haven’t had the cold symptoms yet but my head has been pounding for two days. We are having a strange weather front come through though so I think that’s my problem.
Take care and good luck on the paper!

Feel better!
You’re not the only one procrastinating. I have a scholarship portfolio due tomorrow by 3 pm and so far I’m still trying to get the first few things together. Just fail me now :)

You need help with your paper? No problem, just let me take a crack at it. I have this fool-proof system that works for every subject matter. Except History. And any kind of science. And you can forget it if it’s something English or Literature-related. And it only prints it out in Farsi. Is that okay?

Sorry you haven’t been feeling well. Mark’s been home sick too and I had it about 2 weeks ago. No fun. Well, take care of yourself and hope that paper got written!
