Welcome, SITStas! I’m out of the blog today, but please leave a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
I’m sad that I won’t be around, but I’m sure you’ll forgive me when I tell you that I’m doing necessary work training out of the office…oh, and taking a final, which I suppose is necessary too. These couple of weeks are a bit busy for me as I graduate next Friday!
For my Christmas greeting, I’m going to give you a blog-friendly look at the letter I put in my Christmas cards this year:
Dear Friends and Family,
I hope that you have had a wonderful 2008! It has been a year of changes for me, but the good kind.
This month I am graduating from Southeastern Seminary with a Masters of Divinity with Christian Ministry. I love being a student and have been for as long as I can remember, but I think I’m finally ready to move on. I already have big plans for all the things I will be learning when I’m not longer officially a student.
As a part of my schoolwork this semester, I’ve been doing an internship at my church. I have been writing Sunday school curriculum for the children in our church. I have loved having the opportunity to write the curriculum that I will get to teach my kindergarten Sunday school class in the spring. I’m still working with the 5th and 6th grade girls in Awana as well.
Since I’m graduating, I get asked a lot what I’m going to do. In September, I started working full-time which has been a challenge with school. I’m still at the same nonprofit credit counseling organization, and now I am working to get trained as a housing and credit counselor. This spring I’ll be heading up our free tax preparation as well.
If you want to keep up with me, the best way is through my blog. May God bless you this Christmas and in the new year!
Love,

Wow – your graduation is just around the corner. That is so exciting!! My undergrad from Taylor was in Christian Ed, as well. :)

Merry SITSmas…congrats on being almost done with school. YEAH!
I feel like I haven’t been keeping up on others blogs, like yours, but life has been busy! Hopefully it will slow down soon.
Merry SITSmas!
I love your life, Ronnica! Good luck with graduating and remember, you can always go back to school if you miss it that much. :) (It sounds facetious, but I’m a school-lover too so I keep finding reasons to return!)
I got sidelined by a stupid migraine (don’t let Kiddo know I said “stupid” as that is a forbidden word in our house) yesterday and didn’t finish my SITSmas rounds.
So, belatedly, Merry SITSmas, good luck with finals, CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming graduation, all the best wishes for the New Year.
Most importantly, happy Advent and Merry Christmas. Jesus is the reason for the season, YAY!!!
Cheers and hugs!
Good luck with school! Merry SITSmas!
