Since we got Tivo, I don’t do commercials. Sometimes I think I miss it and then I’ll watch a couple and realize just how wonderful being able to skip over them is.

Hey, you got a new blog! I like it! There was a dealership in SoCal when I was little that always did the dancing chicken stuff. Worthington Ford, I’ll never forget it. They had a theme song with a bouncing ball at the bottom of the screen, and a guy in a ten gallon hat shouting about his awesome deals. I’ve never been to Worthington Ford, but I’ll never forget the directions “Long Beach Freeway, Firestone Exit, Southgate!”

I too dislike commercials in general, and am thankful that with our DVR, I manage to avoid most of them entirely!

However, I do enjoy certain commercials, like the ones during the Superbowl (honestly the only reason I watch) that are specially made to be funny and those Budweiser “Real Men of Genius” ones from a few years ago. (And I don’t even drink beer! LOL)

Commercials are usually so stupid but you’re right about Geico ones, HILARIOUS!

We have DVR so I rarely even SEE a commercial anymore but we used to have a tv and electronic place–or was it a furniture store? Whatever it was they had the dumbest low-class commercials and I’d never even go there just because their advertising was beyond lame.
