Swimsuit or Formal Wear?

This is exactly why I should pre-write posts and have them scheduled.  I’m drawing a blank this morning.  The pressure of “I’ve got to get a post out today, and now’s the best time to do it” certainly dampens whatever creativity or inspiration might be found within me.

Instead of a well-thought-out post, I’m going to ask a question.  The first person to comment on this post will please answer the question, and then ask a question of their own to be answered by the next commenter.  And so on.  Got it?

Answer the latest question, and ask another.  Feel free to comment more than once if you get into it!

First question: Would you rather wear a swimsuit everyday or a formal dress/suit?

  1. Oh gosh, I am first! I would rather wear formal wear every day because I love dressing up and hate my cellulite.

Question: Do you watch American Idol?

  2. I have both cats and a dog, but it’s gotta be DOGS. I just love the way they meet you at the door, wag their little tails, and give kisses.

Is it cold or warm right now where you live?

  3. This is fun!
It is cold and very windy. I DON’T like wind! But at least we’re starting to see bare ground after our 36″ of snow at Christmas!

If you had to be stranded on an island with one other person, who would it be? (not including your spouse!) Why?

  4. Hey, cool! It makes me feel really popular that there were two people commenting at once. I’ll answer both of the questions:

My best friend and college roommate, Dana. We can talk for days without running out of things to talk about. We get along well.

Pepsi, I suppose; but if it’s diet I’d prefer Coke. Though I much prefer Dr. Pepper!

  5. Oh – great game! Great idea!

I prefer to go out to the cinema, although that doesn’t happen very often because of the kids.

If you were an animal, which one would you be and why?

  6. If I was an animal, I’d like to be a dinosaur. You know, if they weren’t extinct (and as a funny aside, when I was dating my future husband, my mom asked him that question and he told her “a bunny”. When she asked why, he answered, “Well, you know about bunnies!” My family has never let him live it down!

And a new question: What is your favorite TV show?

  7. My very favorite TV show is House…ahh…I love Hugh Laurie! And I love all things medical!

So if you could have any baby toy/equipment made into an toy for adults what would it be?

  8. Can I go again? My middle name is Anne. My dad named me after the Queen of England and Princess Anne.

What’s your favorite ice cream flavor/brand?

  9. Of course you can go again. I am, too.

My favorite ice cream flavor is Edy’s chocolate chunk. Yum, yum, yum! If I buy a carton, it’ll be eaten (entirely by me) within a weekend. Which is exactly why I can’t buy it.

Next question: What’s the most unusual thing in your junk drawer?

  10. Oops. I got too into answering the question that I forgot to thank you! Anyway… thanks so much for stopping by my blog yesterday on my SITS day. I had so much fun and am still wading through wonderful comments. I hope you enjoyed yourself and that you come back to visit soon!

  11. Oooh. sure I get this one! I’m not sure I have a junk drawer. Hmm if the drawer to the left of the kitchen sink counts (because that’s the one that was my mom’s junk drawer…) , but that’s where I keep the cloth napkins, and takeout menus, not that I ever call takeout – Um, I just looked and I’d have to say the most unusual thing in there is… a ziplock baggie filled with replacement kitchen cabinet pulls. the pulls they installed in here are very expensive, and very fall-apart-y – so when my neighbor replaced theirs with something even MORE expensive I got their supply of fall-apart-y pulls for replacement purposes. See, told you I shouldn’t have got this Q!

Next question: What time do you normally go to bed at night, and wake up in the morning?

  12. I work part-time 3 days a week. The nights before I go to work I go to bed around 10:00 p.m. but the 4 days that I don’t work I’m up to mid-night – just on my computer or watching TV. To go to work I get up at 6:00 a.m. and when I stay home I get to sleep in until whenever – which is usually around 6:30 the latest 7:30 a.m. I find that at my age I don’t sleep more than 7 hours. How’s that for a long answer for a short question???

Next question: What plans have you made for your summer vacation??

PS – This is totally fun!!!

  13. Oh I love this Miss Swirly!

Hi Karin! The only plans I have currently made for summer consist of finding a way to send two children to a church summer camp at an excellent, local place, which unfortunately is pricey.

Next question: what song most defines you?

  14. I’m Saved, and I know that I am…( Gaither song Jake Hess singing earnestly and joyfully).

Not that anyone is still playing (but this was so much fun to read)… Mint flavor or cinnamon flavor?

    (Awesome idea Ronnica!!)

  15. Of course people are still playing my fun, fun game! Why would anyone want to stop? ;)

Okay, I’ll answer your question, Jen. Cinnamon DEFINITELY. I’m not a mint person, and think that it should be reserved for toothpaste only.

Another question: What’s your favorite thing to see/watch in nature?

  16. Oh yes we are still playing! I even came back just to check it out! lol

Tough question- only because you tossed both see and watch in it. To see would definitely be weather- storms (in particular lightning), tornadoes, hurricanes, snow falling- ALL OF IT! Watch is definitely animals in their own habitat!

Next question: What was the last game you played, excluding this one?
