Anti-Snow Indeed

I should have known better than to believe the weather reports that we were actually going to get accumulated snow here in Raleigh.  I guess our last snow, the only substantial snow in all of my 4 winters here, threw me off.

We did get a dusting of snow last night, but nothing this morning like we were expected to.  Though the roads are perfectly clear, the schools are on on a 2-hour delay, which made the commute easier.  I’m glad that we didn’t get snow so that today can go off as planned, with all my appointments!

Sounds like around here. Get even one snow flake and the place falls apart !

Glad you made it to work safely! Our snow is all melted (yay) except for a few piles here and there. But still plenty of snow up on the peaks. Skiiers are loving this season.
    God bless.

As usual, weather prediction is a guessing game!

I loved the writing style, the grammar, the short sentences of The Road. Very concise but full of emotion.

lol We got a bit more than anticipated. Plenty actually. It was enough to cancel school, create a ton of accidents, and even cause the sky to blacken before whiteout hysteria was created.

I knew I should have grocery shopped yesterday! lol

We didn’t even get a dusting. However, the Farmer’s Almanac is calling for an actual snow storm this month. They were almost right on target for the last snow a couple of weeks ago so…BEWARE! ;)

Yeah–dusting doesn’t tend to throw people off too much ;)! I’m sure it was dustingly pretty though!

Did you buy bread and milk? That jinxes it everytime.

I’m glad it was only a dusting! Like Debateur said, if we get a little on the snow, even here in CO, people lose all control on the roads. It gets ugly. LOL
