Just a Few Whys

Some things I’ve been thinking lately:

Why do I lose my sunglasses at the library (but nowhere else)?  I’ve now left them there twice.

Why does my first afternoon appointment come right when I’ve stuck my food in the microwave?

Why do people insist on parking in the fire lane when the parking lot is only 30 feet further away?

Why does the room I’m in right now only have windows that are four inches wide?  I feel like I’m in a castle (except for, ya know, the laptop, flourescent lights, and Diet Dr. Pepper).

Why do I eat so much Lipsmaker?

Why did I forget the other things that were to go on this list at work, along with the forms I needed people to fill out today?

Happy Tuesday!  What questions have been bugging you?

My question is why am I drawing a blank when it comes to posting. I’ve got a little blogger’s cramp!
My life’s all-time question is this: Why, when you drop something, does it roll to the furthest corner of the room, or under the deepest appliance, or under the longest table etc, etc.

Wish I knew the answer to any of those.
My question is why oh why do some people not have to pay the consequences for their actions (sorry I am on a tear today over octo-nutjob- and if you have the answer please please come post on my blog as I am trying to find a way to be okay with what she’s done and give her the benefit of the doubt and it just isn’t happening).

Why is it that I rarely ever need a babysitter, but when I do I can’t find one?
Why would any group of people want to settle so far away from the rest of civilization?
Why is it that I can I pack everything I need in my purse and not use any of it, but if I happen to leave an item at home, it’s that item that I will surely need when I go out?

How much time is really wasted in a day – standing in line, waiting at traffic lights, going to the bathroom, waiting for water to boil….???

Here’s my question: There’s a bar at the top of my computer that has buttons for everything from “news” to “sports” to “shopping.” Sometimes the news one flashes red and I know something important is happening so I should click on it. My question is: Why oh why does the shopping button never flash red??

Why does time speed up when I sit down at my computer?

Why am I SO content one day and needing SO much more the next?

Why am I unable to finish the book that I am reading right now so that I can take it back to the library (the answer is bloggging)?
