Why does time speed up when I sit down at my computer?

Why am I SO content one day and needing SO much more the next?

Why am I unable to finish the book that I am reading right now so that I can take it back to the library (the answer is bloggging)?

Here's my question: There's a bar at the top of my computer that has buttons for everything from "news" to "sports" to "shopping." Sometimes the news one flashes red and I know something important is happening so I should click on it. My question is: Why oh why does the shopping button never flash red??

Why is it that I rarely ever need a babysitter, but when I do I can't find one?
Why would any group of people want to settle so far away from the rest of civilization?
Why is it that I can I pack everything I need in my purse and not use any of it, but if I happen to leave an item at home, it's that item that I will surely need when I go out?

Wish I knew the answer to any of those.
My question is why oh why do some people not have to pay the consequences for their actions (sorry I am on a tear today over octo-nutjob- and if you have the answer please please come post on my blog as I am trying to find a way to be okay with what she's done and give her the benefit of the doubt and it just isn't happening).

My question is why am I drawing a blank when it comes to posting. I've got a little blogger's cramp!
My life's all-time question is this: Why, when you drop something, does it roll to the furthest corner of the room, or under the deepest appliance, or under the longest table etc, etc.
