I am amazed by how people get so worked up about driving in just a dusting of snow. I swear in my whole K-12 career, we had maybe 3 snow days. Here in Baltimore, they cancel school if they even forecast snow. It's insane.

It is a strange world we live in when you get more snow than us! :-)

I answered the questions you sent me last week and posted them on my blog. :-)

I hadn't heard about your predicted snow. My daughter in Goldsboro just posted pictures a few days ago of her flowers that are coming up. Fickle weather!

My hubby moonlights as a tax pro. We received several new inches of snow today to replenish what melted of last week's foot or so. He said people are frantically trying to get their taxes done so the offices are staying open no matter what. I was always one of those last minute filers so I didn't realize so many were in such a hurry. In my mind it's a long time until April 15th.

Stay safe and warm!

Be careful! People in North Carolina generally drive crazy on a day when the sun is out and the road is dry much less cloudy with snow!

Be careful! Growing up in Buffalo, I never worried about driving in snow/ice...until I moved to Atlanta, and had to drive on the same road with people who've rarely driven on snow or ice. What a mess!

Want to know a cool part of learning to drive in Buffalo? Most parents take their kids out to an empty parking lot on a snowy day to teach them how to control skids. Basically, it's an hour of parent-approved snow doughnuts! Hee!
