Give Me a Word, Any Word
Posted in Mixed Bag and tagged with Words on April 6, 2009So, when I asked for ideas for my 3rd blogiversary coming up next month, Jen gave me an idea I thought would be a lot of fun.
Leave me one word. Any word. Anytime between now and Tuesday evening. Just leave it right there in the comments.
And I’ll use all the words you leave in the comments and weave them into a story, which I’ll post on Wednesday. Sounds fun?

What a fun idea! But it would be difficult for me to use all these words! My word is transgenic. (What can I say, I’m working on my biomedical science thesis this morning! Or I should be…) Good luck! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

You guys are going to make me work for it, aren’t you? How about some plain-ole’ nouns? Who’s going to say, “shelf” or “pen?”
April 6th, 2009 at 11:04 am
hypochondriac (what can I say, I’ve been in the company of my mother the last few days so this word is at the top of my list!)

What a fantastic idea… So glad you stopped by my blog so that I could follow you back here. I love what I’ve seen so far and I can’t wait to go and snoop around and read what you’ve been writing these last three years. Congrats on the milestone!

I’m loving all your suggestions. I have the basic storyline down, but I’m missing the big plot twist. Give me a fun, crazy noun!

Thanks everyone! That’s it…I can’t take any more words. I still have about 10 or so to work into my story…a couple are going to be hard! Come back Wednesday to see the story you all helped create. It’s quite the monster!

Man, I missed it by 20 minutes! Oh well. I’ll still look forward to readign the story.
