It always felt stange to me too to say Happy Good Friday. And yet it was such a significant day that it NEEDED some sort of recognition. I am so very thankful that on that day so long ago, Jesus Christ went to the cross WILLINGLY for me. No one forced Him and it wasn't nails that kept him on that Cross - it was love.
