  1. What a nice birthday greeting at the beginning. You touch my heart…
    Phillipians 4:13-I can do all things through CHRIST which strengthens me.
    My verse, found just after I was saved at 42, and today I am 76.
    And the word WAIT jumps out at me so very often.
    So thankful for my LORD and SAVIOUR.

  2. Phillipians 4:8 has always been one of my favorites. It is the reason I can’t stand Horror Films! I don’t understand why anyone would want to let their eyes and mind see such things. -Not pure or lovely in any way!

    Sorry, I will get off of my soap box now!

    Just stopping by to say hello! Great verses!

  3. @Francesca: Thanks, that means a lot! I do think I got the seed to this idea from someone else, though I don’t remember. Creativity definitely begets creativity.

    @Amanda: That’s a good one, too!

    @G. Zoe: I though you would like that.

    @Kim: True. Though I watch violent movies/shows occassionaly, so I don’t know that I can say anything on that point. I think it’s “lovely” in a different respect as it’s art (though not always).

    @Chere: Of course!

    @Rachel: I bought this Bible for that reason. I have cross-references, dates, names, and quotes in the margin.

  4. You marked a lot of my favorite passages! :) I’d add Psalm 71 to the list, 1 Corinthians 13, Colossians 2, and Philippians 2-3. Oh, and Romans 6! :)

  5. I like this post. Psalm 27 is the first scripture passage I turn to in times of trouble. Revelation 19 is another favorite. Gives me goosebumps.
