Chocolate chip ice cream with chocolate syrup
Mashed potatoes
Fried rice

10 Things I Hate about You
not really a movie, but it’s on DVD: Gilmore Girls
My comfort books:
The Chronicles of Narnia series
Pride and Prejudice
Little Women
Sense and Sensibility
Ender’s Game
Comfort activities:
Reading in my reading chair or outside
Looking at my flowers
Watching TV with my parents, leaning on my dad
Driving alone in my car, singing and dancing to something fun (more often than not, Maroon 5)
Spending time journaling, reading my Bible, and praying, laying my heart out before God
Ice cream is always comfort food!
27 Dresses really is a comfort movie. I <3 James Marsden and Catherine Heigl and they’re awesome in this movie together.
Chocolate chip cookies with chocolate sauce? Are you kidding? That’s awesome!
Chocolate is definitely my favorite comfort food.
My favourite comfort food is chocolate! Curled up with a book and my dog… Or watching TV with the anklebiters.
I love this survey and might have to steal it…
@sleepyjane: I don’t know if I’ve seen Katherine Heigl in anything else, but James Marsden is in two of my fav movies!
@Iva: Well, it’s actually chocolate chip ICE CREAM, but I bet cookies would be good with chocolate syrup, too!
@Amy: You should!
k, i think all of your comfort books are mine! especially enders game (as you can tell by my name….)
i love the gilmore girls, they are just so hilariously witty.
Oh. Yes. Can I trade with you for a day!?!?!
Comfort food: french fries. I could eat them all day. As my thighs could attest. Sigh.
I look at my flowers for comfort too! I thought that was a weird me thing. I’m kind of glad to know I’m normal on that one.
And Diet Dr. Pepper is more like regular.
My comfort food is frozen chocolate chips. Must be frozen. Must be semi-sweet.
OOO. I love ice cream too. In fact, i’m about to go eat some now. Dr. Pepper is my favorite drink. I could live off of that stuff. Oh and thanks for stopping by my blog!!
Gilmore Girls! Yay! I always am thrilled when I find someone else who loves the show. I’m going to be watching some episodes tonight when my kids go to bed. I own all the seasons on DVD.
And I love my diet Dr. Pepper. I actually have cherry diet dr. pepper in my fridge at the moment.
I love posts like this. You always learn nifty things the the blogger wouldn’t otherwise talk about.
Your comfort clothes are the same as mine and I’m totally wearing them now.
I ♥ Enchanted! I just saw it for the first time about 6 months ago and am in love with it! Truly a comfort movie!
Great fav lists! I’m with you on all the foods and I love, love, love Gilmore Girls. ABC Family airs it everyday and I usually try to catch it though I’ve seen every episode several times.
@Valentine: I assumed as much the first time I was at your blog. A Valentine/Demosthenes coincidence was just too much for me to believe.
@Carrie: Works for me…I’d love on your cutie for a day! (I just realized that could sound bad…just to be clear, I’m talking about your SON.)
@Cara: Good one. I enjoy one (or more than one) every now and then!
@Kim: I think it’s perfectly natural. Why else would a flower be beautiful if not for us to admire it?
@Rebecca: I eat more chocolate chips than I should, but I don’t think I could stand them frozen…that hurts my teeth to think about!
@Live, Laugh, Love: Yum!
@Amber: Me too! I’m always watching GG on constant rotation…I’m in season 7 right now.
@Caity: I’m wearing ‘em now, too!
@Aubrey: I saw it in the theatre (twice…with two different sets of friends), but I knew I’d love it from the first preview I saw!
@Carey: Yeah, I’ve seen each episode at least 3 times. It’s just something that never grows old!
Chocolate chip icecream and chocolate syrup. Girl you would fit in just fine at our house. My girls eat that most night. Paige makes hers look like soup.
That is nice your momma makes pajama pants.
♥
Joy
@Joy: I try not to eat it every night, but if there was no consequences, I would!
I just recently saw 27 Dresses for the first time. Two favorite scenes: when she tries on all the dresses in her apartment and when they are singing in the restaurant after the car accident. Hilarious! :)
Mashed Potatoes is such a great comfort food. And I love 10 things I hate about you.
