There will be a time in your life when you look back longinly on these simple days. I'm doing it a lot lately. It's a season though and you're doing well to rest in God and thank Him for everything.

I went through a month like that recently, too, where my sisters' lives were turned upside-down, and it was the biggest thing in my life. I felt like my blog was so flat that month...but there was no way I would exploit their lives for the sake of a couple laughs or tears on my blog. It's hard though, isn't it?!

Yep, it could be the calm before the excitement! :)

On a side note... do you tell others that you have or do pray for them? Many times I do not because I didn't want them to feel obligated to return any or make myself appear braggy or whatever.

But then one day I decided I probably should just so they know others do care and think about their situations. A few times my words have been reassuring. But I still feel odd saying, Oh btw I've been praying about it for you.

I never know how to answer the question "What's new". My life is pretty boring right now, but I like it that way. No major drama. I usually have some cute toddler stories, but the non-parents of the world don't really care.

I'm a routine girl too.

Hope your life stays happy and boring.

Aw, I am glad to look past the word "boring" and be thankful for what you have. I love that kind of optimism. I'm looking forward to your story!
