What in the Sous-Vide?

This bloggy block stuff bites.  This is why I like to have a week of posts pre-written, but then I got lazy…

So, I did what any modern-era person does when they have a problem without a solution.

I googled, “I should blog about” and got these results.

I should blog about

“…the over-use of antibiotics is the main reason so many people are sick all  the time.” Well, I don’t know that I would go that far, but it is a problem.  I also avoid anti-bacterial products as they tend to just make the bacteria angry and come up with new strategies to attack our bodies.  Or something of the like more scientific.

“…free stuff more often.” Umm, okay.  Air, that’s free.  Unless you want to use it to fill up your tires.  Water, that’s usually free, except if you want it from a plastic bottle.  I’m free, especially in the available sense.

“…the iPhone.” I don’t know why I would.  Seems like a decent gadget, but as yet I’ve avoided the entire Apple craze, out of brokeness, not principle.  Besides, I’m more of an orange girl (the fruit, not the color!).  I am looking at getting a new phone soon as I’ll be switching back to Verizon.  This’ll be my 3rd switch.  My goal is to have good cell service where I’m living at the time.

“…blogging only if I’m an expert which I am not!” Well, it’s true, I’m not an expert.  But I feel like I’ve got a good feel about this whole blogosphere thing.  I guess I feel qualified to blog about blogging as I am a blogger, just like I feel qualified to blog about America because I’m an American.  Can’t blog about all of it, but I certainly have opinions and experiences.

“…Weightier Matters.” They’re so heavy they require capitalization.

“…the sous-vide I’m doing.” Not as exotic as it sounds…it’s French for “under vaccuum,” and is a method of cooking.

“…that.” How profound.

“…that folder lately.” Speaking of folders, I’ve gotten better about organizing my files on my work computer.  And then it promptly stopped working.  While I still have round-about access to my files, I haven’t been able to access my email since last Monday.  Definitely makes me realize I need to continue to learn about patience…

“…it, but I’m not a very well-disciplined blogger.” Yes, but what is “it?”  Please tell me!  (Oh, and I think I actually am a well-disciplined blogger.)

“…the stuff I’m doing with sysinstall.” Yeah, I’ve kept it on the DL, but Sysinstall (pronounced “SIN-stull”) and I have gone out a few times.  Just the typical first date stuff: mini-golf, cruisin’ downtown, and ring shopping.

Thanks to Google for the entertainment.  I live to blog another day…

And about the over-use of antibiotics – it is a Huge HUGE problem and not one to underestimate. Mutant viruses and bacteria that we can’t cure are going to be this century’s big problem….

Your water is free?!?! Getouttatown! My water is sooo not free. Oh to buy a house with a well…then my water will be free. But, if the well dries up, that definitely is NOT free…

It’s hard to believe you have a blogging block. I don’t imagine it will last for long. I’m TOTALLY blocked right now myself, but that’s not new. I’m afraid this time my blog may fade off into the sunset.
