The weekend went really well, and Jen’s all moved in. I was absolutely exhausted by the end of Saturday, but it was fun as well.
Since I don’t have much to say as I’m trying to get back on my feet, I’ll just post today a few pictures from this weekend (since we’ve been talking about what you want to see). When I snap something interesting, I’ve been uploading it to Twitter (ronnicaih), so if you aren’t following me there, you might be missing out.

This praying mantis was on my windshield when I left work Friday afternoon. He hung on for longer than I thought.

Friday night we just had to clean up most of the ice cream. All a part of the moving process, right? Though the silverware was packed away, we were able to get by with a couple of measuring spoons and a serving fork.

We went to Target Saturday to pick up a few things, including this 8×10 rug and a full-length mirror. We were able to squeeze it in the car with us. It felt like we were clowns!
I love your pictures!!! Yay! That’s a BIG praying mantis! And I’m totally wanting some of the Reese’s ice cream now. ;-)
I think I need to clean out our ice cream too!
Thanks for the peek into your weekend. I loved the pictures. Glad moving day went great and what a treat to have icecream to go along with it.
Hey you taught me about QWERTY. I went last week and bought a new phone and now I too have a QWERTY keyboard. Makes it so much easeier to text.
I don’t twitter. Only blog and facebook.

We have been seeing praying mantises (or the same one?) around the house this past week. Beautiful…and very freaky.
You certainly couldn’t leave the ice cream behind. No way.
We did the same car squeeze with bunk beds! It was a Durango, but I know how you feel about the clown thing, and about having to duck while driving :)
You definitely can’t waste ice cream. ;)
I always love the last night of vacation when we have to clean out the freezer!
I’m glad you got your friend all moved in! I have only seen a praying mantis once. They’re awesome looking!
i am so far behind in reading blogs… trying to catch up…so you moved, I pray you are settled in by now and enjoying your new place! I wish I could have been there to help you eat your ice cream :)
Just to clarify: it was my friend Jen, not I, who moved. I will be moving there, Lord willing, but not until May.
lol Love the measuring spoons and serving fork!
I’m glad it went so well. I’ll bet Jen really appreciated the help.
I’m horrible at moving. I think that the couple times we’ve moved my husband has wished he had just sent me on vacation for a few days and done it all himself.
