Your blind answer surprised me. With all the reading and blogging you do. Interesting post. I haven’t seen these questions. We do have the game Would You Rather. We need to get it out and play it more.

Mine that would be different:

I’d rather be deaf, although neither option is really a great choice.

I’d rather it be cool and rainy, because hot and sunny is bad for my migraines. I guess if I assumed there was air conditioning involved it might be okay…

Being a CPA before kids, although I worked primarily in government accounting, I definitely would prefer to pay less taxes and file them myself. Let’s get a petition going!

Oh I love these kinds of posts. :) I love your answers. I'll answer too! blind or deaf? I have decided that I am not capable of answering this question. Music is so important to me, but reading and blogging and seeing people's emotions and nature and everything that God has made is just as important. Receive 100 email a day or 1? 100 emails! Although, that's about what I do receive even though a lot of them are automated emails. I do love my emails. I hate politics and a letter from the president honestly wouldn't mean much to me. I'll take a call from home. It always be hot and sunny or always be cool and rainy? I'm a sun-lovin' kind of gal. Pay more in taxes but not have to worry about filing or pay less and have to prepare/file them yourself? I can prepare and file them myself. I already do.

I would rather be deaf. I hate the dark and as much as I would miss music, I would miss driving and movies and all kinds of other things that go with sight more.

Phone call from home.

This is a toss-up for me because I love overcast rainy days and I hate being hot, BUT I love going to the pool/beach soo…

wouldnt we all die without the sun?….
I’d want 100 emails too….
And as for the taxes… makes me no difference – taxes suck whenever you have to pay!

But you could read (with braille) at least. Could you imagine not being able to hear all of the amazing music? Braille means that words are still there but sign language has nothing on sound.

I was just talking to someone yesterday about blind or deaf. We have a couple in our apartments who is deaf…I would rather be deaf than blind. It would be difficult not to be able to see all of GOD’S wonders. I prefer, I know I am an oldie, mail that the mailperson brings, I prefer e-mail when it is personal to me…not all the forwards. There is nothing better than a phone call from home. Taxes…I am to the point in my life that isn’t one of my things. Sorry, I like both types of weather…even a little snow as long as there is no ice. Raining today.

I would most definitely rather be deaf. I am fairly proficient in American Sign Language and at least I could feel the beats to music. I agree with you on all the others though :-)
