Quotes, the House Edition

Since I’ve watched a lot of House recently (as of today I’ll have seen them all, except for the first season, since Blockbuster doesn’t carry it), I thought I’d do a special all-House quote post.  I’ve said it before, but remember that I find these quotes intriguing, though I don’t necessarily agree with them.

‘People have the right to be happy.” – Foreman in “The Greater Good”

“It’s just a job now.  The fairy tale ended a long time ago.” – a priest, “Unfaithful”

“Rational arguments don’t usually work on religious people.  Otherwise there wouldn’t be any religious people.” – House, “The Right Stuff”

“If the wonder’s gone when the truth is known, there never was any wonder.” – House, “You Don’t Want to Know”

  1. Oooh love House! My favorite was always 3 Stories, it totally threw me for a loop at the end. Actually, the season finale totally threw me for a loop too… I had to stop and rewind!

  2. Camile: I just saw that one the other day. Really neat…you could totally feel for that guy!

Ari: Haven’t seen that one, since Blockbuster doesn’t carry season 1. I’ll have to check out to see if that’s just my Blockbuster or all of them. I did really like the season finale…crazy! I really want to see it again just to make sense of it.

OneMom: It’s a TV show on Fox about a cranky (that’s putting it way too lightly), genius diagnostician and his team.

  3. House is my VERY favoritest show!! I just LOVE Hugh Laurie. Sam introduced me to him with an early English comedy series called Black Adder. I fell in love…LOL. Apparently, according to interviews, he really is pretty moody like he is in the show. And he really does ride an awesome motorcycle. Um, anyway, that’s probably more info than you care to know…lol

  4. I’ve never seen a whole episode. But the commercials are top-notch! :-)

I like it when someone says to him, “You just think you’re always right!” and he replies, “No, I don’t, but I just find it difficult to operate from the opposite assumption.”

    Brilliant!
