We stayed for eight days in Rome – and really enjoyed our time there – we also spent a few days in Treviso, which is 40 km north of Venice. If you have time, I’d definitely recommend it. It’s a medium-sized medieval village with just a great and special energy!

Cara: I know, crazy, right? I haven’t been out of the country in 3 years, but the timing is right NOW for both of these trips!

Sydney: Rome for sure (the friend I’m traveling with has friends there, so we can stay for free!). Beyond that, I’m not sure as we haven’t started planning yet. Any ideas?

Amanda: Make that 3 hours, and that would be me, too. And if I didn’t have various trainings for work, I think I wouldn’t have traveled more than an hour from where I live in that time!

I’m in work-stress mode, too. 100 papers to grade this weekend! Have to get them out of the way, or they’ll just pile up. You know how that goes. Procrastination is not my friend! I’m sure you’ll enjoy Phantom. That’s one I’ve never seen, but so many people sing its praises!

Wow, you’re flitting all over the place this year!! :) I don’t think I’ve traveled farther than 2 hours from home since…April! That’s very unusual for me, but I’m kind of enjoying being a homebody, and saving money too ;) have a fab weekend!
