Worth Checking Out
Posted in Mixed Bag and tagged with Blogness on September 16, 2009Seems like this week has decided to be as busy as a few of the past weeks. Really, it’s good, right? So if I have stopped coming by your blogs, you can be assured that THAT is the reason, not something you’ve said/did/didn’t say/didn’t do.
So, in part because of my busyness and in part to be nice to my latest bloggy buddies, I’m copying Caity AGAIN. This time, I want to point out some recent blog finds that I think are great! Basically, I haven’t been reading them much lately, so I think someone should. Seriously though…they’re worth checking out!
Amanda (previously went by Chere) at Teasingly Diverse. I’m trying to remember all the reasons I like her blog, but really, it boils down to the fact that she reminds me of me. Does that make me vain? I mean, we have a lot of the same interests and things! Except for the Ducks…I prefer my sports team’s mascots to be inanimate objects.
Ari at Curious Illusion. She blogs about her obsession with her new iPhone and the cattiness of her new co-workers.
Ashley (I’m sensing an “A” theme!) at Canadian Chalkboard. She’s a real recent find, but I find her experience with the Canadian school system facinating.
Cheryl at Joy for the Seasons. She’s not new to blogging (though this one is new) nor is she new to me (I’ve known her since having her oldest in Sunday school 4 years ago). But her blog is worth checking out, so she goes on this list!

Aw, thanks hon! That bit about the inanimate mascots cracked me up. I also like that the screen shot of my blog is Patrick Swayze. Yes indeed. I haven’t actually been finding any new blogs lately because I subscribe to SO MANY already that I needed to draw the line somewhere. I have, however, been visiting some new blogs via the website (in)courage and an online book club I’m part of…but I couldn’t give you one in particular.

Don’t worry. I was almost ready to apologize for the lack of posting/ lack in quality posting on my blog. Glad to hear that you have busy schedule. Not that we don’t want you around, but you seem to have some enjoyment from being busy so it’s good. Or perhaps it’s I enjoy being busy and assume everyone else does too… I’ll look into that.

Love, love, love Phantom! My husband proposed to me at that show in Atlanta 8 years ago:-) I think that Andrew Lloyd Webber is a genius. Have you read the novel? Fairly different, but still wonderful.
