Definitely someone bigger than us.

My favorite childhood book is The Outsiders. I read it ever once in awhile. I will always love it.

I was never encouraged to read as a young person and really didn’t “come into that” until I was 42. Then was taken later to the large library and got my card. What an experience I had missed for so long.

I’ve reread my favorite books from childhood – The Chronicles of Narnia specifically. They were indeed as good as I remembered.

Even the Beverly Cleary books like Fifteen and Sister of the Bride were entertaining when I read them again.
