I, too, am always awed by the wonders of travel. Every time I take a trip I think about how I woke up on one city/country and will go to sleep in another. And how amazing that is.

The place I most want to visit is Egypt. I would love to see the pyramids and the Valley of the Kings. And mummies. I love mummies!

You know me, I LOVE to travel. My goal is to make to Antartica and that area so I can see penguins, and to Svalbard, Sweden, to see Polar Bears.

I marvel about modern travel, too. Every time I fly home, I think that my great, great grandparents moved to Kansas from Virginia in a wagon and it took weeks. WEEKS. In what now takes me two hours. It is amazing. Could they have even begun to have imagined that? And what will things be like in 100 years? Boggles the mind.

I’ll go to Rome with you! Always wanted to go there, and Italy. I would like to go back to England, I loved it there. I went to Australia earlier this year – loved it!

Hmm, that’s an interesting thought – if we all see colors the same way. I never considered that.

Cheryl: Flying over the ocean is no different than flying over the continent, really. It’s usually cloudy or dark (or both, I suppose) over the ocean, so I’ve never seen it in the 6 times I’ve flown over it. I DO want to see Egypt and Israel, though…add in Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon too!

G. Zoe: I would like to go to Denmark. I hope to have the opportunity to see more of Europe at some point, as I’d like to go to Germany, Denmark, France, and England.

Elizabeth: Spain is awesome! I definitely want to go back. Madrid was the most navigable city I’ve ever been to…and it’s fun, too!

Well, I haven’t been to so many places it would be hard to choose just one to go to! I’d love to go to Spain and Greece, the Bahamas, and India! And, hey, I wonder about the color question too. Like if what if my green is your orange but we call it the same thing? Ha!

I always wanted to go to Denmark, the birthplace of my materal grandparents. When I retired, I decided i didn’t want to do that afterall. Now, staying home in my “homey” apartment is wonderful each day, and I just look forward more and more going to be with JESUS.

I am scared to death of traveling across the ocean. If I had the money and the guts, and general security and safety were not an issue, I would be in Israel and Egypt in a heartbeat.
