When I’m 27…

Today I’m old enough to not show ID when buying cigarettes in Kansas.  I told you, I read everything.

My birthday present is Phantom of the Opera which is a mere 2 days away.  So excited!

Actually, as my mom is always quick to point out, I won’t be 27 until 5 PM tonight.  Someone mentioned a theory to me a couple of months ago when I mentioned I was an evening person…she said that what time you were born dictates such things.  Makes sense for me, as I’m most alive in the evenings.  How about you?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope your whole day is super special!

Well, hmm. I’ve never heard that but in my case, it would be true. I was born at 1 a.m. and I’m typically a late night person (and I HATE getting up early). My son was born at 3 in the afternoon and has always fought afternoon naps. heh.

Happy Birthday! Hope this is the start of another wonderful year for you!

(That birthday time theory doesn’t work for me. I was born at 11:59am, but I’m a big-time early morning person. By noon I’m ready for a nap :)

I was born sometime after 1pm and all that’s ever looked like to me was naptime :)

    Happy birthday! (Again!)

I LOVE the Phantom… hope you enjoy every high note!!! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I’ve never heard that about the time you were born, but yep, that applies to me too – I was born at 7 & I am definitely more peppy & active at that time… weird!

  8. Tara Says:

Happy Birthday! Hope it’s wonderful. And I was born early in the morning and I am definitely more of a morning person. That’s a cool theory!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I can’t tell you what time of the day I was born. being the fifth kid I guess those sorts of things became less important. :)

I hope you have a magnificent day.

I was born prematurely by c-section at about 10pm. While I’m always in a hurry to get things started and consequently done (maybe that’s the premature part?) I am sooooo not an evening person. But I can’t handle blood. I’m going to start blaming that on my birthing experience!

  11. Kim Says:

Happy Birthday! Here’s hoping 27 is a magical year for you.

Happy, happy day!! Sounds like grand plans are in the works, you young thing. The world is before you and so much adventure awaits. (Wow, I should write fortune cookies with THAT exciting drivel! lol) But it’s true. I ENVY you your trip to see “Phantom.” It’s a FAVORITE!

  13. Ronnica Says:

WhatACard: Thanks for your counter-example. It does seem to be more true than not, but could just be coincidence.

Rebecca Jo: I’m looking forward to it!

Rodney: Probably not. My mom brings it up every year, but having her first child was pretty momentous, I think!

Amanda: I really doubt that is related, but who knows.

Kim: Thanks! It was only about an hour ago that I realized, “Hey, I’m 27!” Really, you’d think it’d sink in before that, but like I said, I’m not a morning person.

    Robynn: Thanks…it’s the perfect timing!

    Happy Birthday!

  15. Ari Says:

Hmm, I was born at 2am. I’m not a morning person. And I’m not a person that can stay up til 2am.

Happy birthday again, hope you had a fantastic day!!

  16. Pam Says:

Happy Birthday! Hope you day is special. As for you theory, I don’t know what time I was born, but if your theory is right, it was probably afternoon. I’m not a morning person or a night owl. I do love to sleep though.

  17. Christy Says:

    happy birthday!

  18. Ronnica Says:

Ari: I suppose that would be kinda hard to be 2AM kinda person.

    Thanks, all!
