Okay, Okay, Okay
Posted in Literature and tagged with Story, Words on April 1, 2010Several of you have mentioned our fun little word game. I haven’t been up for it, but I think I’m ready to wow you again with my fiction improvisational skills.
It’s been a while and some of you are new, so here’s how it goes. You name a word–any word within reason (please nothing technical or vulgar!)–and I’ll use all your words in a single story. Just leave your word in the comments on this post. (No April Foolin’ here.) Feel free to be as offbeat as you wish…only helps to propel the story in some interesting directions.
I don’t know when I’ll write the story, but I’ll at least give you a couple of days to give a word. I’ll let you know when it’s closed.
To see what I’m talking about, here are some past stories you’ve helped me create:
Frankenstein and Rock ‘n’ Roll
(And I promise I didn’t mean to put them in alphabetical order…that was the order I found them in, promise!)
So, what’s your word?

Jenn: You crack me up. Just for you, I’ll try to get “technical” and “vulgar” in my story along with “erosion” (maybe I should save it for Earth Day?).

My word is “abominable” :) Good luck!

Our word is “wheat” because that’s our livlihood.

Riley would like to contribute the words antidisestablismentarianism and scrumtrulescent. I would like to contribute the words verbose, goofball, and husband.

Oh and to clarify…take your pick of the above words, though you will likely hear from Riley if you don’t use one of his words…ha!
