1. What is your favorite sport?
To watch: football. To play: tennis (and about the only sport I’d play).
2. Which day of the week do you look forward to most?
During tax season, it was Tuesdays (my late start day). Now, I’m not sure. I actually prefer the structure of weekdays to the weekend (I know, weird), so maybe Mondays? I do spend time with 2 of my favorite people every other Monday, so that’d make sense.
3. Have you ever had a secret admirer?
If it’s a secret, how would I know? But not that I know of, no.
4. Do you like your eggs scrambled or sunny side up?
Scrambled (or hard-boiled). Once tried sunny side up because it looked good, but I was VERY mistaken. If I make them myself, I like to add cheddar cheese and ranch dressing…yum!
5. What was the first plane ride you took?
To Chicago, when I was 16. It was for Science Olympiad, when we were going to Nationals for my first time. We actually waited around in the small Wichita airport for 7 hours (this was pre-9/11) because they kept delaying our flight and then switched us. It was quite bumpy, too, since there were a lot of storms, but I didn’t know better at the time. Now, turbulence bothers me more than I’d like to admit (though I’m a big roller coaster junkie–go figure). And though I got started flying late, I’ve not stopped, and now routinely fly 4 times a year.
1. What is your favorite sport?
To watch: Australian Rules Football. To participate: Cycling
2. Which day of the week do you look forward to most?
Friday. I know by the end of the day I’ll have two days to spend with my amazing family.
3. Have you ever had a secret admirer?
Yes. There have been a couple of times where I’ve heard of an admirer through a third person but the person hasn’t been willing to admit to it. I also look back and some things that certain young ladies said to me years ago and wonder how thick I was that I didn’t get their extremely obvious message at the time. Of course I’m more than happy that things worked out the way they did.
4. Do you like your eggs scrambled or sunny side up?
I do make a lovely scrambled egg so it’s hard to choose but I’d probably go sunny side up. :)
5. What was the first plane ride you took?
My first plane ride was when I was around 23. I flew from Perth to Singapore for a work conference. I LOVE flying.
Hmmm… Can we go with eggs over medium?
Ooh, I hear you on hating turbulence but loving roller coasters. Now that the warm weather’s here and the theme parks are opening soon, I could really go for a 500-foot drop, seven-loop coaster… yeeeeah.
Veronica: I have no idea why the question was worded that way, but I’m going to go with no. ;)
Melissa: Sounds fun…it’s been too long since I’ve gone!
Ooh – I’ve never had eggs with ranch dressing but now I’m tempted!
1. Love to watch football, but baseball is my favorite.
2. I always look forward to Saturday, but this week I agree with you and am looking forward to Monday. This will probably never happen again (the me looking forward to Monday thing, not the me agreeing with you thing).
3. I have had a secret admirer in the past, and boy do I wish he would have stayed a secret.
4. Scrambled eggs with cheese, please! Although, like Veronica, I do like mine over medium.
5. My first plane ride was to Orlando when I was 19. I apparently had a very sheltered childhood.
Have a great weekend!
1. What is your favorite sport?
To watch: curling. To play: does marching band count? It should.
2. Which day of the week do you look forward to most?
Right now no day in particular, as I’m between the spring and summer semesters of school.
3. Have you ever had a secret admirer?
Once in like 4th grade.
4. Do you like your eggs scrambled or sunny side up?
Definitely scrambled! Or hard boiled.
5. What was the first plane ride you took?
From Atlanta to New York a few years ago to see Wicked on Broadway! I learned then that I don’t like plane rides any much more than car rides. I’d rather take a boat any day even if it is much longer.
Mondays? Really? :) To each his own!
Let’s see . . .
1. basketball (to both)
2. Saturday
3. Yes — in high school I found out two boys called me The Godess. Hilarious!
4. Scrambled.
5. I went to Mexico in high school with my choir. We sand on the largest tv station out there, some schools, and in several cathedrals, including the Shrine of Guadelupe. It was an amazing experience!
Forgot to tell you I subscribed! I’m looking forward to getting to know you. :)
1. Figure skating…never was allowed to play anything because of heart situation…thus I never participated…oh yes, was cheer leader when I was a junior in high school…does that count?
2. I am now just thankful each day when I awake and say what’s up for today, Lord?
3. Yes, I was a sponsor for a middle school group…I was a late teenager…took this kid home from our meeting…I dearly loved him…asked him about his girlfriend and he told me he liked an older girl. I was pleased, very cautious…nothing like things today.
4. Eggs…I have to been in the mood. Looking at the yolks, I always think of the little chicks, kind of turns me off…I tried eggs benedict a couple of weeks ago…had always wanted to try… really were good…usually eat sunny side up.
5. My first plane ride…I went alone…to Bangor, Maine. I was in my early 20s…went to visit a pen pal I had sent stationary to while he was in the service. Landed one weekend…second weekend airport under water from Hurricane Edith…what a wonderful experience (not the hurricane).
I’m not in to sports, dated a soccer player and had to watch soccer because I was into him. Still don’t get the fuss, men playing with round objects,… I have round objects and mine are more interesting…
Eggs,.. so sunny side up and soft. Very soft. A very willing and brave chicklet must still be able to find a way to life..
Megan: You’ll not be able to go back!
Tasha: I don’t think I’ve ever taken a boat to really get somewhere, except for a ferry. Just seems too slow!
GlowinGirl: Awesome! Thanks!
G Zoe: I never knew that!
