Man I remember my tenth birthday….and I gotta ask what is that creature on your moms sweater? Is it a reindeer? It kinda looks like it could be a lion though :o). Ahh the fashion of the early 90s right?
I was driving in today and the radio talked about a “youngmenowme” site.. where people look at old pictures of themselves and recreate them. It’s neat.. with all of your old pictures, maybe you’d have fun recreating one?
Loving how the headband matches the shirt, hehe. And the reindeer sweater… Wow. Sometimes it’s bizarre to look back and realize those things were once popular.
Rebecca Jo, INM: Yes, a reindeer (Rudolph specifically), though you can hardly see it’s antlers. My mom made matching sweatshirts for our whole family every Christmas, and this is one of them. And my birthday is December 15th, so she wasn’t crossing seasons!
Heather: That’d be fun! This one would be a funny one to do, actually. Not sure my mom would appreciate having to wear a reindeer sweatshirt again, though!
Mindy: Of course it would…I knew how to accessorize. I always had to have something in my hair, so I wore a lot of headbands.
Yikes. I graduated high school in ’92. I love your mom’s reindeer sweater. It reminds me of Darcy in Bridget jones.
Oh my gosh… I just cant stop staring at the creature on your mom’s shirt. Is that a reindeer? So please let your birthday be around Christmas! :)
I’m loving your Olivia Newtown John “Physical” headband though! I had a similar one in white! haha!
Ohhh yeeaaah! Good times. 10th birthdays are the best. That is SOME reindeer. HA.
