You know what I don’t take advantage of enough, living in North Carolina? The beach. It’s less than 3 hours away, but I haven’t been in well over a year.

But I’m going today.

After I get off of work today, I’m driving to Topsail Island (pronounced “TOP-sul’ for the non-NC crowd) to spend an unconventional 3-day weekend at a beach house with some good friends of mine. I’m looking forward to the time with my friends, relaxing, and of course, the beach.

This is the first of two trips this month (they always seem to bunch up in my schedule) which should make for a quick July!
