Best of the Ignorant Historian
« About the Historian |If you’re looking for some classic Ronnica (whether Tale of a Kansas Girl or Ignorant Historian), here are a few of my favorites, by category. I hope this serves as a bit of “best of…” in case you’re curious, or just can’t get enough.
More about Me – Writing 5 or 6 times a week, I feel like I write about me ALL THE TIME, yet when I seek critique, it’s usually #1. So, if you’d like to know more about me, here are a few posts that’ll point you in the right direction…
My Christian Faith - If you read my blog for long, you’ll realize that my Christian faith is something very important to me. In fact, I’d say that being called a daughter of God is THE defining thing about me. Here are some of my favorite posts on the subject…
Controversial Issues – Some of my favorite subjects are also my scariest. When I choose to address a controversial issue, I don’t know how my readers will take it…but they’ve (you’ve!) always been great, even when expressing their disagreement. I’d love for you to weigh in on these topics!
The Single Journey – While my singleness doesn’t define me, it’s a big part of who I am. I never thought I’d be 27 and still single (with no sign when/if my marital status will change). Here are some posts describing the journey that God has brought me on…
The Little Ones – I’ve always loved working with children (remembering telling my mom when I was still a child myself that I was good with children), from babysitting on and off for almost 15 years now to summer camp and VBS. Though I don’t yet have my own, I do hope to have a large family some day, Lord-willing. This is now my 5th year working with 5th and 6th graders in AWANA (my favorite age group) and teaching Sunday School to kindergarteners. We all know children say and do the funniest things, and here are some great examples.
